@CreatureHaven I think it's a discoverability problem. I know there are countless great makers out there but trying to find them is the main challenge. places like twitter have horrible discoverability for casual users while sales sites and discord suffers from segmentation

@DuneBarks It depends, I do contract work a lot of the time, Plenty of clients lowball me or don't want to pay a fair market rate / living wage for my work. What I do has different value to different people and I don't have to take on all the jobs. It stinks sometimes but that's Capitalism

@DuneBarks I can see that, but my brain instantly jumped to the other interpretation. I don't think a lot of people genuinely think that an artist should be paid 50$ of art of that quality, more likely that people are misinterpreting the question
