My sister who lives in chesterfield has dressed up every week during lockdown to out out her bins. This week she had recreated a photo of us taken in 1985. The part of me is played by her husband 😂😂😂
This time last year I went out with my friend Sarah. I was taken ill and she looked after me. Who'd have known 3 months later she'd have been taken from us. I miss her so much ❤️
Sam & Alex should have visited us for a stay, but couldn't because of lockdown! Here 👉 they talk about how their lockdown experience. Please donate to our Fundraising Appeal (), and help us to be here for the twins 🌈
I'm so proud of my boys for all they've achieved in the 18 years they've lived (11 more than their prognosis) but why is the transition to adulthood so difficult?
After 13 months of sleepless nights, stress and a shit load of worry, we finally get to stay in our house. I might finally get a good night's sleep and my kids don't need to worry about stuff kids shouldn't be worried about

Boys have had an amazing birthday. Their dad has been in quarantine for 2 weeks so he could visit and I went on my 3rd (social distancing) date .... Yes he's still interested ❤️
So just before the apocalypse began I embarked on a new relationship after an 8 year dry spell. If we can survive this we can survive anything right ???? I hope so ,❤️
This "car", parked outside
@Selfridges
yesterday without blue badge, occupied by an indifferent chauffeur (who would not move even when politely asked). Truly parked like a c*nt! Feel free to share & RT.

Yesterday I let an elderly gentleman pass in a crowded aisle in the supermarket and smiled at him when he said thank you. He commented on the fact that it was rare to see people smile nowadays... It costs nothing to be nice 🤷♀️
My kids have set up a You Tube channel to increase awareness of living with (and surviving) a disability and hopefully to make you laugh. Please subscribe and tell EVERYONE. It's called "Sam and Alex" their first video is Lockdown Life

Unpopular opinion.... People who say they're not sending Christmas cards but donating to charity are lazy ..... Don't underestimate the feeling of receiving a card through the post
Currently transition to adulthood is proving to be shit. Continuing care for 2 overnights a week DENIED, disabled students allowance DENIED .... What next?

A lot of people are missing the point .... You may not have heard of him but he wanted to fly under the radar and not be known for having a relationship with Taylor swift
My 2 amazing disabled 17 y/o young men have been at
@RainbowsHospice
this weekend probably having the most fun ever and I've missed them so much but am I a bad mother to admit I've really enjoyed the break?
With the extra day, we asked Sam and Alex from
@rainbowshospice
to tell us about a day that made a difference to them, made possible by your donations.

This will be the 12th xmas I've been in my own. 12 years of putting everyone else first & not taking anything for myself. Quite frankly I'm sick of it. I'm sick of people moaning & whining. It's about time someone put themselves out for me. But will they? Will they fuck
The fabulous little chap in the middle was my grandad Frank Yates who died this day 1975. I miss him so much. The fifties on the left and right are my parents and yes, the child is me 😊
Sam and Alex have made their 'Together We Can' pledges, have you? 🤔
Keep your eyes peeled to our channels next week for a special film with these two legends 👀
My lovely little girl .... Has hyperthyroidism but the medication is working AND she doesn't have kidney problems. Pity it cost me £800 to find this out, but she's worth it 💕
