He is absolutely right. Cillian out of a movie is just a regular, if ridiculously good looking man. On the silver screen, there’s simply no trace of the actor. Only the character exists.

This will be very tough to pull off. You usually have to choose between spectacle and drama. Kinda hard to be invested in human characters when freaking titans are duking it out outside.

Men live their whole lives facing rejection and mounting responsibilities within a world where women seem to hate them. Not very surprising.

Doom is one of the most under-realized characters in comic history. I think it has as much to do with his complexity as a person as it is with adequately representing him on screen.Hard to sell a character that is always masked. Only The Mandalorian has succeeded in doing that.

This movie is a visual spectacle. The adaptation was very well done and that is high praise considering the books were once considered unadaptable. Lots of strong performances although Zendaya was meh. We still love her.

This interview was quite interesting to watch. It helped me see past the almost satanist image of the man that has been painted over the years, revealing someone who is highly intelligent and seems to care deeply for his country. Quite disconcerting.
