Yes, the best way to plan a big project is to first start building it. About ~1/4 (and sometimes ~1/3) of the way there, you're ready to plan the rest... 👏
Very important to understand this. This is why you can't just think about problems. Plan to solve problems. Or put together the steps ahead of time to solve problems. You have to start working on the thing itself to fully understand. You learn as you go, and you learn the most by making progress.

Controversial coding takes I agree with: - DRY - Comment your brains out! - Code should be beautiful - WPCS > other standards - A GUI text editor is just as good a terminal one - The mouse/trackpad is helpful - PHP is fun - Creativity > Productivity - JQuery gets the job done
