This! I am Caribbean we grew up eating a lot of rice and almost never put hot food in the fridge. And also generally reheat rice and pease/ use stale rice for fried rice. I have never once in over 30 years gotten sick from eating rice.

I think people don’t understand how after a certain age people become invisible. I work in an industry that deals with the elderly. There a lot of people who call sometimes just to talk to people. Loneliness is real no matter the age.
