79-year-old admitted with heart failure, severe MR due to a flail posterior mitral leaflet, has normal coronary arteries, and no other valvular diseases. Successfully treated using #Abbott #MitraClip XTW and XTR, trivial residual regurgitation and a mean gradient of 2 mmHg.

90 yo severe AS, admitted for TAVI workup. Developed hypotension, pneumonia, and new severe LV systolic dysfunction, suggestive of Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy LVEF ~25%, required vasopressors within hours, urgent TAVI #Navitor same day. Within 18 hours, no hemodynamic support.

An incredible week of structural interventions #MacquarieUniversityHospital! Last week, 3 TAVI, today 5 TAVI with a combined mitral TEER and LAA closure. 81-year-old LVEF 25%, severe functional MR, GI bleeding, AF. Started with #AbbottMitraClip NTW+NT, followed by #Abbott Amulet.

84-year-old severe AS, AF, high bleeding risk. TAVI with 29mm Navitor&LAAO with 25 mm Amulet in single procedure. 3 hours post-op, chest pain and hypotension. Imaging revealed late migration of THV above annulus, snared the migrated Navitor and deployed the second Navitor.

We've had an exciting fortnight at Macquarie University Hospital! 6 TAVIs—3 #Sapien and 3 #Navitor and 2 #MitraClip. One interesting case, severe AS and a healed VSD. To minimise risk of rupture, we chose to implant a Navitor valve. fantastic result, no PVL / mean PG of 1 mmHg.

75 year old man, paraplegic due to spinal injury, recent prolonged admission with decubitus ulcer, osteomyelitis and heart failure due to torrential MR and flail posterior mitral valve leaflet, successfully treated with hashtag#MitraClip (1 XTR and 1 XTW) with a very good result.

Severe calcific stenosis, undilatable with NC balloon at 26 atm. First 1.5 mm #Rotablation but significant stent under-expansion due to a calcium ring which was addressed using a 3.0 mm #Shockwave, resulting in an excellent result as confirmed by IVUS and angiography.
