Cleaning out my storage shed. Pulled out a crate. Memorabilia from my 1st 27 years of high school coaching. 8 State championships, a million memories, and thousands of relationships on that floor. So proud to be a part of each school and all my players.

This is not the outcome we started the day with, but I reminded myself at 8:30pm tonight we were one of two teams in South Carolina still playing high school baseball. Many others wish they could be in our shoes. 28-7 overall. We took the next step.

Shout out to Brent Stukes. No hitter tonight in a complete game 3-0 win over Abbeville. Only 81 pitches, with 12 K’s. 21 batters up and 21 down. Hit the lead off batter of the game and then picked him off. No other base runners allowed.

Mission accomplished. District 2 AA Champions. 9-0 winner over Blacksburg. 24-5 on the season. Looking forward to competing in the AA Upper State Championship on Thursday.

Well our season come to an end. Fell a little bit short of the ultimate goal. 26-9 record this year. 54-16 and two AA State Runners Up over the last two seasons. Not too shabby. These 7 seniors are a special group. Gonna miss them big time.
