So if you `sudo mkdir /AppleInternal` on your Mac, you get a bunch of debug stuff that’s normally used by engineers at Apple. I never noticed before, but that includes an extra iOS simulator menu, including your choice of simulator colours!

It really sucks when I see developers I respect totally dismiss a technology / career path that I’ve grown to love (React Native). It takes a mental toll on me. This happens a lot on Twitter and in iOS dev newsletters, so I tend to avoid those now.

This is a big factor in why I don't spend much time on Twitter anymore, honestly. People get too attached to their tech choices (even me). Once I had an iOS dev friend send me a DM, saying how disappointed they were in my career choice, that I had betrayed the iOS community. 🤷♂️.
