This is bad news. Allowing internet providers to throttle and censor traffic depending on the content is changing the open nature of the internet and very dangerous. Framing (by ISP lobbyists) the prevention of censorship as 'government overreach' is both evil and ironic.
A federal appeals court has struck down the FCC’s net neutrality rules that prevented internet service providers from throttling or blocking content or charging more to deliver it
