@ralfer We say: "Our results confirm that probabilistically encoded visual features are bound with other features and to particular locations, providing a powerful demonstration of how probabilistic representations can be a foundation for higher-level vision."

I also think that this is the first time that Finnsstaðir, my family's ancestral home in NorthEast Iceland is mentioned in a paper in Vision Science. 3/3

Can people learn the statistics of their visual environment with only passive viewing? The answer is "Yes", but there are some caveats. All explained here in a new paper with David Pascucci and Gizay Ceylan at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne.

Pretty happy with this new preprint with @ralfer. We show how probabilistic representations are integrated with representations of other features and bound to locations, and can therefore serve as building blocks for object and scene processing.

New review by my friends and colleagues @heidasigurdar , @IngaMaria86 and @DevillezHelene. Interesting what Heida says. Visual problems clearly play a role in Dyslexia but some think that such views must be suppressed immediately. They are playing scientific whack-a-mole.
