Today Punk DAO released its membership token, which is a 'recoverable NFT'.
This is an NFT that can be stolen and recovered by its owner by separating ownership from custody. The hope is that more tokens will follow this model going forward.

I fundamentally disagree with many ETH maxis on ETH NFTs.
One of the main reasons historic ETH NFTs are lagging is the ETH gas issue. Sure people don't mind a $100 gas fee for a 200k asset, but the issue is that the 'activity' has moved elsewhere.

You've correctly stated that the firmware has always been upgradable and then suddenly jumped to TLDR: everything is fine.
This misses the point. Previously there was no export feature and now one exists that we can't opt out of existing on our device.

PNG is not the best file format, but it's waaay better than JPG for your illustrated NFT.
The following is an example of a 1500p image.
Ideally, keep vector art in a vector format or use more modern image containers but there are compatibility concerns.
PNG if you aren't sure!

I cannot overstate how important these announcements are. It heralds the widespread acceptance of this new digital medium in art history.

Super disappointing that everyone in the space is now paranoid about signing messages from their wallets because they don't understand the risks involved (mostly quite low).
We need to do better than this. Proving wallet ownership is a cornerstone to Web3 and needed.
