@Jasonphilip8 Can TN make all medical colleges private and bring them under a body that is not directly affiliated to state? Like a government aided college instead of a government college? Would that allow leeway to admit students directly?

What’s driving crypto prices up despite a volatile week? After Monday’s sell-off driven by monetary policy concerns, Bitcoin surged to 100k, with altcoins like XRP and Ether following suit. This rally reflects improving market sentiment, as indicated by a Crypto Market Sentiment Index rising to 63. Institutional confidence also remains high, with MicroStrategy purchasing 2,530 Bitcoin worth $243 million, bringing its total holdings to 450,000 tokens valued at $43.35 billion. The recent recovery in crypto prices illustrates the resilience of the digital asset market amidst macroeconomic challenges. Bitcoin’s strong performance and MicroStrategy’s growing holdings reflect continued institutional belief in crypto’s potential. For retail investors, navigating such dynamics requires regular research, and also being prepared. #Crypto #Bitcoin

@MandarKagade But some people never move beyond podcast. Podcast is more passive activity compared to reading a book.

I guess they have sold the BTC and are compensating users in the for of USD as a part of rebalancing since the value of remaining assets have appreciated. If Binance were to fill the whole, they would have to fill it in actual quantity rather than USD value, because users have been forced to part with benefits from the last 6 months of Bull Run

Can quantum computing spell the end of Bitcoin? @sundarpichai has today tweeted about Google’s latest quantum computing chip, Willow. He said Willow has made a breakthrough in reducing errors as it scales up. It solved a problem in less than 5 minutes that would take the fastest supercomputer 10^25 years—longer than the universe has existed. Naturally, this made some people in the crypto world nervous. Let’s talk about it in simple terms. Bitcoin and other crypto assets (Proof of work) depend on two things to stay secure. First, there’s mining. Mining is like solving a giant puzzle. Thousands of computers race to solve this puzzle (called SHA-256). Whoever solves it first wins gets approve the bitcoin transactions and in that process mint new Bitcoins for himself. Now, imagine someone having a super-smart computer (like Google’s Willow). If it solves the puzzle faster than everyone else, they can take over. But here’s the catch: Willow needs millions of super-smart brain cells (called qubits) to do that. It only has 105 right now. So, no need to panic. Second, there’s the private key. Think of it as a secret password to your crypto wallet. If someone cracks this password, they can steal your Bitcoin. But cracking it also needs millions of qubits. Willow is far from being able to do this. Now here’s the cool part. Bitcoin isn’t stuck with just SHA-256 or its current system. If needed, it can switch to a tougher puzzle. SHA-256 isn’t the heart of Bitcoin, it’s just one tool. Ethereum, the second largest crypto asset was able to do away with the puzzles and switch to Proof of Stake. And Technology has already prepared for this. There are quantum-proof locks (algorithms) ready for the future. These locks are like super-hard puzzles, even for quantum computers. When higher Qubit Quantum computers become commercially available (may be we are some years away) almost all traditional IT systems would need to embrace Post Quantum proof algorithms. And it’s like how the world worked together to fix the Y2K bug. Systems will just upgrade. Most users won’t even notice the change. Finally, quantum computers can solve some problems faster. But they’re not magic. They’re good for specific tasks, not everything. So, is Bitcoin doomed? Not at all. It’s ready to adapt. The world of crypto is way ahead in this game. @giottus

Introducing Willow, our new state-of-the-art quantum computing chip with a breakthrough that can reduce errors exponentially as we scale up using more qubits, cracking a 30-year challenge in the field. In benchmark tests, Willow solved a standard computation in <5 mins that would take a leading supercomputer over 10^25 years, far beyond the age of the universe(!).

@ShaanVP @saylor And most importantly the bonds are useful way to trade Bitcoin’s volatility. So no matter how many bonds Saylor issues there are always enough takers. Microstrategy is among the top 10 traded stocks in US.
