@protosphinx @RaquelUrtasun @chris_urmson Hello Shashank, I don't think it's merely about coding in Python, it's about thinking the entire pipeline of Autonomous Driving. Would love to chat more, are you gonna be at event tomorrow?

@ranyshaware @andreas_madsen Thanks for clarifying, & there are other similar widely known yet seldomly acknowledged barriers for programs (not only phd) in US. It is ironical that there are also programs claiming to promote diversity yet restricting entry to only US applicants. Discriminative diversity.

@hardmaru I think even more impressive about his work, is how he combated the geographic inequality. Somebody being an independent researcher in US or UK at that time though difficult is not entirely impossible. Somebody like Ramanujam with his background in india, is unheard of even now.

Anybody that wants to read a good investigation journalism for today should read this discussion : Good work to @kaggle to not only identifying the issue but also releasing it for general public.

@hardmaru The first time I held the @CerebrasSystems engine chip, it put into perspective how small the other GPU chips are. Looking forward fondly to see how much it can actually help to scale in mainstream applications.
