On a more serious note. Can someone from my tennis peers explain to me what’s with the constant complaining about the quarantine food, if everyone is getting 100$ per day (!) to spend on food deliveries ON TOP of the breakfast/lunch/dinner they get daily?

If 100$ per day isn’t enough for you all I can say you might wanna rethink your diet. If it’s not enough for them they might wanna dip into 100k minimum check they are about to get or maybe sell a LV bag to afford some smashed avo I don’t know..🤷🏽♀️

The hotel food is not good from pix they posted. My own hotel quarantine experience the NZ food was a lot better than Sydney which was low rent take out food. Breakfast generally best meal dinner the worst lunch hit & miss. $100 isn't much athletes need quality food not junk 🍟🍔

I am just going to donate regardless of my performance , cause my 1 accidental ace per 4 matches on average really won’t be making any difference 😬 But love the idea, wishing all the aussies lots of aces:)

2/2 it’s his money and he can do whatever he wants with it. It’s not his fault lower ranked players (🙋🏽♀️) aren’t making “enough” money. It’s ITF’s screw up and their job to fix it, he shouldn’t be hated cause he is good at tennis and doesn’t want to share his money with us IMO

Been asked for tickets for Wimbledon by other players at least 20 times today, and asked other players for tickets myself at least 10. That’s what we do here at Wimby since we only get 1 (!!) ticket on the match day. And NONE if we don’t play on the day.

To answer your question, I presume ITF/GS rules differ from WTA rules. Plus within that the GS tournaments all have their own set of rules (i.e. Wimbledon).

Disagree. Doesn’t matter if it’s a one off payment or a long term, if he doesn’t believe in the cause he doesn’t have to donate. It’s his decision and he shouldn’t be pressured into doing it if he doesn’t want to.

You make it sound as if he is asked to help low ranked player on the long term. He is not. It's a one time help during a time where atp/wta tour is cancelled and some players have ZERO way to make an income. It's selfish
