This is one of the very few experimental demonstrations, first theoretically predicted by us (𝐽. 𝑂𝑝𝑡., 065502, 21, 2019; 𝑃ℎ𝑦𝑠. 𝑅𝑒𝑣. 𝐴, 023509, 102, 2020), where femtosecond pulsed excitation shows an edge over conventional CW excitation. More:
