Including gas costs in a market cap calculation seems extremely misleading to me. I’ve never seen $ETH gas fees included in

token market caps. I’ve never seen $BTC gas fees included in

I definitely care, I just don't tell people that the cost of my house includes the amortized mortgage interest (fees) just because I also have to pay that too. The value (market cap) of your property doesn't include the bank fees, escrow fees, insurance fees, survey fees, etc..
