Congrats to @geoffreyhinton and the entire ML community in🇨🇦. I did my NSERC postdoc at @VectorInst named after him, which transformed my career. By coincidence in 30 mins, I will teach Back Propagation to junior students in Oslo in the first lecture they see Neural Nets!!

@FSchaipp Without giving us any chance to clarify, the AC raised reproducibility concerns: The paper is theoretical The code was already available in the supp doc The reviewers were already satisfied so they did not engage in unnecessary discussions We are confused!

@yoshitomo_cs The reviewers in my batch did a great job and thoroughly discussed the papers by the end of author-reviewer discussions but they do not engage much in the follow-up discussions.
