@BrianMc23314790 And staying in the UK union doesn’t carry any risks, Brian? What about ongoing Thatcherism, Brexit, Tories and Reform? And that’s before we even get to the asset-stripping of Scotland. I’d rather take a risk on Norway/Denmark style independence than staying in the failing UK.

@dadbegg From what I’ve read, the PIF is getting fed up waiting and may pull out of golf soon. Football is providing better opportunities for its ‘sportswashing’ political agenda. The PGA Tour has proved to be more resilient than they bargained for.

@dadbegg I still think LIV as a product will disappear. The financial model is unsustainable with very few watching it. Elements of it may be included in the long awaited compromise deal, like the team aspect.

It wasn't a lie. For it to be a lie there had to be malicious intent. I know Anas and there was no attempt to mislead. His concern and commitment to the people of Grangemouth and to Scotland is sincere as evidenced by the work that he is doing now while others run a way.

I’m convinced this is part of a long-term strategy by British governments, regardless of their colour, to asset-strip Scotland so that we become reliant on the UK mainly for goods and services. Scotland will be nothing more than a tourist & holiday location.
