A fantastic effort has been made for todays @NSPCC number day. Well done to everyone who has taken part. Each class has been given a number, they have to display their number, the class displaying their number the most creatively will win a prize.

On Friday 7th February, for a £1 donation for NSPCC number day, all pupils can dress up as their favourite number or anything number related (eg: number blocks/numberjacks t shirt/ jumper, police, fire or ambulance for 111, 101 or 999).

Applebee Wood would like to thank the Variety Club and the Trevor Hemming Foundation, who are our generous sponsors for our new school bus. This bus will be used yo transport out young people to off site activities and events. We are thrilled to be the lucky recipients.

15th November is Children In Need Day. Pupils can attend school dressed head to toe in one colour, for a minimum £1 donation to Children In Need.

We are having a Harvest Festival in school on the 17th October. This will involve the children in Dahl, Wilson and Carroll Classes. Donations of harvest gifts will be gratefully received, tins or packets. Hampers will be created and donated to the elderly in our community.
