After contemplating a move back to India for the last year, I'm excited to commence a post-doc @upiasi in New Delhi and continue my research on professional careers in India. Looking forward to the next year and connecting with scholars researching contemporary India!
We are excited to welcome Dr Aparna Pasumarthy, @apasumarthy, our new Garware Technical Fibres Postdoctoral Fellow, to the team! Her research interests in gender, careers, organizational behaviour, and leadership will bring valuable insights to our work.

This AMR piece was my go-to resource when thesis writing. I am drawing on it again as I begin work on papers from the PhD. Anyone have any advice/resources for writing academic papers? #AcademicTwitter #AcademicChatter #PhDchat

If you're an academic, this collection of essays about the lives of ECRs may be oh-so-relatable. Read! 'Getting in, Getting on or Getting over a PhD' by @GemmaTidman is so personally fitting.

@rishie_ Benedict Carey's 'How we learn' may help (particularly Chapter 4). I remember there was some evidence that distributed learning ('spacing effect') helps improve learning outcomes for students.

@Rob_Briner Such a downer, Rob! From my teaching at QMUL, I found that attendance is high (70 to 80%) only when there's an assessment element (group work, course participation) linked to class. Otherwise (many) students seem to schedule in part-time work #CostOfLivingCrisis
