Just my two cents… (1) Sometimes people get missed but it’s not purposeful. Reply but don’t assume malice. (2) Keep in mind that if their account is limited because of getting lots of follows quickly or following back too quickly, it will look like they aren’t following you when they are. They can actually show up as having “unfollowed you”.
