My mom was once approached by a photographer to audition to be featured in Femina in the 90s for which she had to go to Bombay. She turned it down because “mereko ye sab nahi karna tha”
my dad was once randomly approached by a film director and asked if he wanted to star in a movie alongside sonali bendre and he said no because he'd just gotten married and felt it would've been unfair to my mom. it's been 25 years and my mom still brings it up.
