@davenicolette They are, definitely! And I use both skillets heavily in my current role. But for my first dev job, my bootcamp career advisor warned against being evaluated on the job performace of both. Also where is my focus on a career switch?
@JayCamDev Ooh I think it's AMAZING u're both! Having many skills makes u more versatile in what u bring to the table 🔥 But for the first job esp, think abt what u want to be evaluated for & where u wanna grow. Traditionally design & dev are seperate jobs- do u wanna do the job of 2 ppl?

@mia__bala @Alec2435 @onwardLyn @jess_coding @nicoleisxyz @hhthacker Ugh I wouldn't be comfortable consulting on this altho had an adjacent issue once: You've prolly already checked, but leaks are often due to forgetting to remove any EventListeners called, or when an async API request completes on an unmounted component.
I'm a FE dev. But today over 2 stressful hours, I learnt a reason deployment might fail is bc ur server is low on disc space, memory & CPU so build processes aren't able to npm install dependencies correctly. Welcome to start-up life where dev-ops might be one of ur hats 😩
