Congratulations to NPCIL on activating KAPP-4. NPCIL presently operates 23 reactors with a total capacity of 7480 MWe, has 9 units ( including KAPP-4) with a capacity of 7500 MWe under construction and 10 more units with a capacity of 7000 MWe in preproject activities.

Happy to see 22 countries signing up for tripling of global nuclear capacity by 2050 at COP 28. Thought India should have been at the forefront of this initiative to put nuclear at the heart of climate action.

Great to hear Idaho National Laboratory (INL) getting ready for insertion of twelve CCTE-ANEEL-1A thoria/HALEU capsules into the Advanced Test Reactor (ATR). This high burn up irradiation test has the capacity to change the nuclear landscape for generations.
