Today I celebrate 14005 days of being a woman. I’ve been pregnant 5 times because I suffered three miscarriages due to Polycystic Ovary Syndrome b-4 giving natural birth to my two kids. No man can say he has done these things because you cannot change your gender.

We all deserve to feel safe at home, at work, and in our state capitol. Yesterday someone open-carried a gun into the capitol, told the police that he had more guns at home, and was released on bail - only to return to the capitol later with another gun.

I wouldn't have retrieved that out of my brain on-the-fly either. It's not a story ruiner.
Having to hold someone's coffee while they retrieve medicine as someone is dying is what sticks with me. This whole scenario seems to have become so commonplace. Very sad for my dear PDX.

Promoting violence in any manner, but particularly as an elected Representative of the State of Wisconsin, is both abhorrent and distasteful.
It doesn't surprise me, but it does give me concern that a democrat in such a highly-elected position is a perpetuant of violence.

Accident 2 hours from home after 3 days at the capitol. That was pretty scary. Thankfully for Officer Jilek, Barron County 911, Blackjack Trucking, my dad for watching the kids, and my husband for picking me up. I'm a little sore from the seat belt but otherwise ok. What a day.
