Dear Emiratis, you always smell so darn good 🤩

OF COURSE now that I have no option but to work from home they decide it's the right time to renovate upstairs. I know feeling sorry for yourself is not a good look but today I'm really NOT happy. Lack of sleep isn't helping.

It’s been an odd week or so but I’m surprisingly doing well - I’ve become so resilient, it seems, which is nice to witness. But it hasn’t all been bad - a very dear friend of mine was in town and I showed her a few of the places and events I love ❤️

Thankful that January is finally over with so that the New Year, New Me brigade can disappear again.

Was just feeling like it’s the end of the world, then realised it’s almost *that* time of the month. I’m heading back home to wallow under a blanket.

Gosh I’d missed hiking! Used to be privileged enough to live in Kathmandu and hike every weekend if I wanted to. Did this easy one in Khorfakkan yesterday to try it out here in the UAE and I actually really enjoyed it!

I swear health insurance companies here make their websites super complicated to catch you out. I hate all of them.

I swear to God, the fire alarms in this community go off every effing day.
