I follow this guys account and he drops so much info on the music business. Mind you I don’t have nothing to do with that business but he drops gems!!!
An artist manager isn’t an employee. They don’t get a paycheck on the 1st and 15th. Instead, they earn a commission—typically 15-20%—from all revenue sources: recording, publishing, touring, merch, sync, and more. If you’re not making money, they’re not making money.
