This is raw and as real as it gets. I started out in oilfield working in a yard of a sucker rod shop. Had zero dollars to my name and just married away from my wife. Terrified about the future. Fell in love with production and 5 years later here we are. Chase your dreams homies!
One of the wells we pulled two weeks ago. Got a 20bbl flush off of it 3 days in a row then she settled in right about 7-8 bbls a day. Rig was on and off it in half a day. I love strippers.
Derrick hand today literally got out of the pin last night served two years for a DWI. Acted like he didn’t miss a day…. They just don’t make them like that anymore lol.
I love west Texas. You have absolutely no excuse to not be successful out here. This place has a way of holding me accountable to being something great.
Experience means nothing to me. My 5 years could be way more knowledgeable than someone else’s 15 years. Just lost a contract due to “not having 15 years experience” yet we’ve increased production in this field daily. Ignorance kills.
Oh man... the Permian is already back to blowing money on water haulers spraying water on lease roads to keep the dust down. It’s pre oil crash symptoms already.
