I represented the Ag. CS @JamesMacharia_ EGH, @minwater_sani in @cwwda today in Mombasa County during the on-going Performance Contract vetting exercise FY 2022/23 for the Ministry’s Agencies. I commend the Agencies for adhering to the 19th Circle PC guidelines.

I was in Kakamega & Kisumu Counties today where I represented the Ag.CS @JamesMacharia_ EGH @minwater_sani during the on-going Performance Contract vetting exercise FY 2022/23 for the Ministry’s Agencies. @CRVWWDA @LVNWWDA & @LVSWWDA went through the vetting exercise Successfully

As a Ministry, we urge the Water Companies to adopt the new technologies that include Smart Metering and venture into partnerships to source for funding in order to mitigate the challenges. @wstf_ke @minwater_sani @eldowasco

Upon completion, over 4000 House holds in the areas of Nyali, Kongowea, Maweni, Kisumu Ndogo and Bombolulu areas will benefit. All these projects are geared towards improving water, sanitation and irrigation coverage in the respective Counties.@cwwda @minwater_sani @county001

The project is being financed by ADB and GoK at a cost Ksh. 218M. Currently it is at 65% and upon completion it will serve over 3000 households within Msabaha, Kizingo, Ganda & Watamu town in Kilifi County. @minwater_sani @cwwda @KilifiCountyKE

The meeting chaired by CS Environment & Forestry @Keriako_tobioko focused on the provision of overall policy direction, implementation of previous decisions, directives of the LVB-SECOM & Report of the 9th Joint Regional Policy Steering Committee for LVBC projects & programs.

I appreciate the strides made by #WASCO since it's inception 11 years ago. This organization has provided a platform for sharing ideas, capacity building especially on areas of NRW & nurturing talent. I assure you that the Ministry will give you all the necessary support.
