As a barrister, I can tell you that I get more nervous about advocating for myself at the gp than I do about presenting my case to a judge. One wrong word and your gp tells you to go home and drink water with no further action 😭

This x1000. The signs are always there. You cannot teach consideration and/or thoughtfulness. It’s either there from the outset or it’s not. The amount of times you hear, as a family lawyer, “I thought things would be different when we got married/had a baby.”
My somewhat hot take on this? Men don’t become this kind of fathers overnight. They show these qualities long before. As just friends, boyfriends or husbands So when that man shows you who he really is, don’t ignore and somehow hope you can make this kind of father out of him
