@Ishwari2176 But - if it helps to clarify further, Prof. Francione was focused on such care being malpractice, which is different I think from a forced obligation concern. I don't think an adequate case has been made that it would be malpractice given similarity in breast tissue structure.

@garylfrancione @Ishwari2176 No, you've totally changed the scope of expertise and focus with your analogy. Time is a finite resource, but I do not respect that you will not be critical of your own gender critical positions and actions.

@Ishwari2176 @garylfrancione but to follow up as the "handmaiden TRA" that I might be, I think my main issue is with people spreading lies about or insinuating that this trans woman was seeking a pelvic exam when she wasn't. seems really dishonest

@garylfrancione @Ishwari2176 There is probably some not too difficult training available if your friend wanted to develop the skill set. The structures are not fundamentally different.

@garylfrancione I think this is also a case where throwing around 'trans women = males' totally evacuates important granularity - basically in addition to disingenuous "crazy" smears I think you're committing a fallacy of accident if that framing helps
