@JournalismSEEN Hi @JournalismSEEN, I'm one of the authors of the story. FWIW in that sentence, we were trying to distinguish between transgender women and cisgender women without using the word "cisgender," which many readers don't know.

@patrickaturley @michelnivard @nmancuso_ This is one interpretation, but a more skeptical interpretation is that the EUR PGI is picking up entirely indirect/SES stratification and once moved to a genuinely independent population it's predictive power goes to 0%. Unless we have evidence against, I would urge skepticism.
