Bro, if jokes are troubling your mind, it's a you problem. You don't file cases for your problem.
#WATCH | Mumbai | The complainant, advocate Satyam Surana says, "...The video that went viral shows Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahabadia and other co-panellists inciting such sexually explicit content and making such sexually explicit and obscene remarks. It is highly troubling to the common Indian mind like mine. For a person who is active in the legal field, I prefer to take the legal recourse to get such people to task and it is necessary that we as a society speak up against it..."

What are we doing here! Why are we engaging in moral policing? The state must not have a say in what is moral and what isn't, when it comes to speech.

It's not like I expect any better from a former Congressi who is currently in SS-UBT. But from what I hear, Priyanka can be quite reasonable. This tweet is not reasonable. It's a copout. She's toeing what's likely a party line and defending the indefensible on technicality.
Just a reminder: From the Constitution of India: Freedom of Speech And Expression- 19(1) (a) And 19(2) Article 19(1) (a) secures to every citizen the freedom of speech and expression and should be read with clause(2) which empowers the state to put reasonable restrictions on the following grounds: a) Security of the state b) Friendly relationship with foreign states c) Public order d) Decency and morality e) Contempt of court f) Defamation g) Indictment to an offence h) Integrity and sovereignty of India

Rajdeep, you're a journalist. You, of all people, should know how fungible the definition of hate speech can be. Even hate speech is free speech. The only limits are when there's a violation of the harm principle. It's really not rocket science, man. Come on.
I see lots of people up in arms over @BeerBicepsGuy obscene remarks including politicians and public figures. I wish many of them would speak up when hate speech aimed at inciting mistrust and violence between communities is being ‘normalised’. Ranveer’s remarks were wholly inappropriate but hate speech is where we must really draw the line on free speech. Agree?

@NonsensicalNemo What's the point if this is what she does as a representative of people? Her professional view is what is going to have repercussions.

RT @PoisonOfChoice: I'm for soft cancellation of this dude. Not because he made inappropriate remarks, but because he's a mediocre content…

#WATCH | Mumbai: On the controversy over YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia's remarks on a show, Advocate Ashish Rai says, "A complaint has been lodged to the Mumbai Police Commissioner about some viral videos of the show 'India's Got Latent'. There are a lot of videos with obscene language which can make any common person uncomfortable... Two days ago, videos emerged which are obscene and vulgar... The videos they are creating are popular... The intention behind it seems to be that they wanted to earn more money... We have also given a written complaint to the Presidents of NCW and Maharashtra's Women Commission..."

@seshasainikhil I have a disagreement only with the regulation part. The public decides whether or not something lies within acceptable discourse by their views and money. Any regulation from the govt makes it easy to misuse. Why do you trust any politician with your own liberties?
