@var_epsilon I do one week in windsurf and one week in cursor. They are neck to neck. Windsurf more accurate better context. Cursor is so much faster though feels more flowy. Windsurf please fix your speed. Tab in cursor is just not good compared to cursor

@marcinzaremski I ask it to give me a confidence score from 0-10 before implementing, if it’s below 8 I ask it for other solutions or. If they need more info

@marcinzaremski lol. And then it breaks other things while trying to fix. Commit, commit , commit. Stash, stash, stash

@bindureddy I can’t seem to get anything to perform better than Claude Sonnet 3.5 for coding in real world. Anyone else with same issue? Using windsurf and cursor mostly.

@philkellr @sshro12 Doing both front and backend. Agree much better at front than backend. But mostly just have to really keep it in rails. I have days that it’s magical, just does exactly what asked. Others a complete waste. Sucks at sql, orms in the back.

@agenticmark @kerckhove_ts This is very true. Got something working. Git commit immediately. You will need to revert and the reverting for both cursor and windsurf are not great

The output in o3 is inconsistent for now. So everyone is having difficulty parsing it. Becomes a problem in cursor and windsurf. Will try again today maybe it’s solved. The attitude difference between models is insane. Such different personalities. Claude is still my go to but sometimes it’s just too agreeable. I’m always right? Come on man!!!

@jonas @CFJWilliamson This is fantastic. Have been thinking on doing this, and have been "manually" building the lists and asking it to go to the next. But never got to this. Also "You fight like a dairy Farmer!" ;)

@RayFernando1337 Windsurf is killing it. Using both cursor and windsurf and last week I have to say it’s been windsurf 90% of the time. Their scraping and keeping into context documents is miles ahead of cursor right now. Still got some catching up to do on tab though. Cursor tab is magic

@LazarusPulse @mckaywrigley @AravSrinivas @cursor_ai Using both windsurf and cursor. Windsurf has this figured out. Just @web the docs and it will go scrape and remember it. Did this for tailwind 4 today.

@colinhacks @tadhgboyle This is great. Would this also embed validation for args and return of functions? I hate that I have to define a schema for runtime, infer a type from it and then pass it around a million times. I just want to define it on the args and returns and see it everywhere on hover
