The cameos in D&W are lame as fuck, genuinely. The only explanation for people eating it up is that they’re desperate to like the film and justify their commitment to a dying franchise.
While it's depressing that cameo-fests are selling tickets en masse, it does give me hope that they are already scrapping the bottom of the barrel with them.
This is an embarrassing but thankfully finite stage for Hollywood filmmaking.
