My take 2 days ago, when common sense showed AAP on back-foot. Cong takes revenge for AAP harming them in Haryana. Punjab Congress detests AAP for its vendetta against senior Cong leaders. Delhi at last gets peaceful governance. @AAP Ldrs may face renewed prosecution pressure.
Don’t need exit polls to read Delhi polls. Congress drain of some AAP votes & ED damaged @ArvindKejriwal will help BJP gain. How much? Difficult to say but two positives if BJP wins: 1. Daily scraps in Delhi end; 2. Will weaken AAP-in-Delhi grip on CM @BhagwantMann & Punjab.

Continuing on X/Twitter is becoming more & more irritating. Every third tweet is of @elonmusk sucking upto @realDonaldTrump. Also the new algorithms make it more difficult to expand one’s followers. It’s like swimming upstream- the effort far exceeds the gains.

@ambkcsingh Singh Saab, Please help me understand the hullabaloo around handcuffs & shackles. It would be foolhardy to expect deportees to act rationally in the flight bringing them back to zero, having spent big amounts to get into the US. It is a security risk for the flight safety.

Seems Gov’s hearing is restored. But India must do more than “register concerns”. US will not change its methodology. India should: 1. Convey it won’t allow any more military flights for deportations 2. Draw up a plan to bring our people back on OUR planes- commercial/charter.
Just in: MEA says it has "registered concerns" over the treatment of Indians on board C17 deportation flight. Specifically the shackling and handcuffing of women, has been taken up, say officials.
