I live in Los Angeles and am devastated for my city; I am on edge, glued to the news. That being said, we are ALL Americans—the people of North Carolina deserve better media coverage —> resources. I understand that LA is more easily accessible by news outlets and it’s much harder to go report on a place like NC in the winter. But these people need more support. This is unacceptable. Even BEFORE the LA fires, these NC families were grossly overlooked, ignored, and ABANDONED by both government and media. It’s all a disgrace. 🚫 Local taxes for California didn’t save us. 🚫 Federal taxes for FEMA didn’t save them. I usually don’t get political on here. But if you’re an American, you should be deeply saddened and gravely concerned.
