The fact that society frowns at such behaviour and confronts such perpetrators is an indication that social media is powerful. Things like this have been ongoing for a long time, but because it is not reported, and even when it is reported, there will not be enough evidence to prosecute the offender. Social media as a tool for public engagement has made people think before they act. The more people are exposed, it becomes minimal. In the near future, I am certain such occurrences will no longer be very pronounced because of the power of the media. Aside from the possible exposure through social media, people should treat others with love and care. When you show love to others, you attract peace to yourself and blessings from God.
