Also yes, still counts. A finish is triggered the moment it enters the area, the bey doesn't have to touch the "floor" of the zone to count. Whether the "finish" condition is nullified, depends if the bey is able to return to battle zone as a complete bey, while still having it's spin direction.

@Zankye This is a very good example of a bey returning to battle zone. Despite returning to the battle zone upside down, the bey was still spinning in its original intended direction of spin. The other bey did not return from the Xtreme zone.

Taking it with a pinch of salt until I get my hands on the actual thing. But it makes sense since it's kinda a parallel release alongside BX and UX. And also, middle piece adds weight. How the middle piece fits into the bbx meta, only time will tell.

Based off official Japanese rules, the top isn't counted as a play area. There used to be a rule where if the bey does not return to battle zone within 3 secs, it's a relaunch. Even when launching, if a bey hits or even graze the top cover, it'll be a relaunch as beys need to land in battle zone to count.
