@MegStEsprit Yes we have “Fran’s Steak” a steak & spaghetti dish from the Italian war bride who lived next door to my grandparents in the 1950s and “Mary Boyagian’s” a pork apple thing from a woman my grandfather knew on cape cod in the 40s; never met them in my life but I make their recipes

@clhubes We had a landlady who was so against chemicals of any kind she would sneak into the apartment and steal our cleaning supplies
