Ignoring that they have won in 85, 87, 88, 00, 01, 02, 09, 10, and 20 since then. That's more than half their total championships after that year. I guess none of those years, the Lakers were a desirable destination for coaches. Smh.

Nobody said Cal couldn't get players feom the portal. Tre Reeves, Grady, Mintz, Mulder, Sarr, Travis, Sestina, not to mention POY, Oscar were all transfers he got at Kentucky. We just keep saying he doesn't know how to coach them. 🤷♂️

We have been hearing it for 2 weeks. "We don't want that guy cuz we are getting Brea" now Brea cuts UK. Were told we would have 3 guys last week. We got 1. Eventually pieces need to start falling.

2. Cal has been getting transfers for years. POY Oscar Tshiebwe, Mitchell, Reeves, Mintz, Grady, Sestina, Mulder, Wheeler... all dudes that transferred to Kentucky. Couldn't coach any of them to a championship.

UConn picked Mahaney because they wanted Brea to commit while there and he said no. What's really funny, is had UK decided to match UConn's price, we would have gotten Mahaney and Brea.

I'm not standing up for the guy. But at times people are in shock and things don't sink in til later. My grandmother is a preacher and I saw her give a sermon the next day after her daughter (my mom) passed away from cancer, and you couldn't tell a difference.
