@TheBrianMcManus Spherical captures of the scene lighting would be great too. I'm sure VFX people working on it would appreciate it even more than the production nerds who buy them.

@davepl1968 Writing code for an AVR chip with 2k of ram was weird. Memory/program space were so limited it felt like CPU time was free.

@kromulan @TerminalRootTV You can't count on it, but it probably happens anyway. is fantastic for this, since you can compare what assembly get emitted for your code. Funniest ones are where you manually unroll a loop and the compiler notices and undoes that because it's slower.

@davepl1968 @YeeHawTonk2 I'd have gone with main(void).

@drunkonhugs @DJSnM That was my first thought from the screenshot. Like, damn that's some impressive editing/malicious compliance.

@andrew17sc @ianching685 @JJ_McCullough Are any of these requirements mutually incompatible, or is there an all-Canada spec things can be made to fit? I'm in the EU, so I have a hard time understanding this.

@nephitejnf @SwiftOnSecurity That, and being able to fly a burger king anywhere in the world in the belly of a globemaster are important military capabilities for the propaganda alone.

@catgirlprostate @TaranVH Every OS really should have a "caffeine" option available. Some way of checking what's keeping the machine awake is nice too.

@visakanv Those bright lines are called caustics. It's probably for the best that word wasn't used in the description.

@PanicAcid Here too. Noticeably from the tracking. My only clue about packages transiting Turkey is when they sometimes come with the current address sticker placed directly atop one with a Turkish address, but my name.

@lyte_sabr Yup. My thought was that he looks more crusty in the profile pic than he did on TV. Took a few PKAs before I realized/remembered that was him. Same deal with recognising Kyle.

@datnofact Do you know anything about they guy who created it? He's a legitimately insane person. Almost died multiple times while trying to determine a formula. Other adventures detailed on his blog may be worse.

@CrunkComputing @mito88 @_MG_ I know there's a discount of some kind for countries still considered "developing", but regular mail rates are standardised in a document the UPU regularly puts out. Lot of the aliexpress stuff I get here in the EU is relabelled and reshipped from Turkey or other third country.

@_MG_ I haven't noticed much difference. Though I'm not importing anything commercially, and I doubt random aliexpress sellers I use care. The VAT thing was huge though, since many sellers aren't set up to do that paperwork.

@SwiftOnSecurity Got to keep this in mind. I've been using novamin/arginine paste for years ever since I heard someone complaining that the FDA banned it.
