I like this take. My take is different. I feel like we went from nightmare to dream. From regret and guilt to yearning and forward looking desires. I tie it to the images - flowers, grass, animals, nature, kids, families.
In Victorian flower language, pink carnations mean “I’ll never forget you” & white ones symbolise pure love.
New consumption with the emphasis on flowers (arranged on B stage as if on a grave) feels funereal. Not like something has died… just like something has come to an end.
