Today, on the Eve of her feast, we have celebrated St Josephine Bakhita, the Patron Saint of Sudan. We thought about her journey and celebrated her strength, praying we take inspiration from her and find strength through God’s love. “The whole of my life has been God’s gift” ✝️

Last week, Year 5 had an amazing time creating fitness trackers using Micro:bits with @hodge_jo @DigSchoolhouse! 💻⚡ They learned all about using variables in code while having lots of fun. A fantastic way to explore computing! 🏃♂️📊 #STEM #CodingFun

A wonderful R.E lesson for 3S today. We made our own bread with yeast, to compare to flatbread, while we thought of the teachings of the Parable of the Yeast. We realised that the yeast is like God’s love for us. With God’s love, we can grow His kingdom all around us. 🍞❤️✝️

Yesterday, Year 1 listened to The Call of the Disciples (Luke 5:1-11) and reflected on how Jesus calls us just as He called His disciples. 🎣✝️ They then created their own fish to represent this special message!

Y5 celebrated the Jubilee launch by thinking about how we can improve our local community. We thought of issues that we see, considered what Jesus' guidance would be and thought of what actions we could take to help this issue.

A wonderful jubilee launch in 3S today. We looked at the symbolism behind the Pilgrimage of Hope artwork and drew our own versions. We then came together to perform the “Pilgrims of Hope” hymn. We loved finding meaning in the words and creating actions. #Jubilee2025 ✝️

Our Liturgy Leaders have been hard at work preparing next week’s Prayer and Liturgy sessions. We looked at our scripture focus and found songs and images that delivered and celebrated God’s message. We then thought how we can Go Forth and carry God’s message with us each day. ✝️
