It’s not bc of no health insurance.. ERs don’t refuse service to ANYONE (it’s against the law) they just send you a bill later.. only private hospitals can refuse service bc of inability to pay.. that hospital is not private...

I work in an ER... Off rip this is a psych patient.. they come to ERs all the time (frequent flyers) most of the time these people are noncompliant therefore there is nothing the hospital staff can do. So if they aren’t a danger to themselves or others they are discharged.
