My kids went to bed thinking they’d wake up in a country led by a woman who genuinely cared about their future. I have to go wake them up and tell them that 70 million people voted for the guy that wants them dead. I don’t know how to do that.

I’m a neurodivergent mother raising two neurodivergent children. Seeing Gus loving his dad out loud at the DNC felt like hope and joy and everything I want for the future of the country my kids are growing up in.
I am neurodivergent. When I was 14, I was diagnosed with ADHD, OCD, and several learning disorders, including dyscalculia. We’re not weird, we’re wonderful. And we’re your family, friends and fellow Americans.
