There’s a lot of pain in pediatrics. There’s a lot of joy as well, the stereotype isn’t wrong. But pediatricians go through it all; loss, failure, pain, disability, hopelessness, abuse, death. Just because our bandaids are colored doesn’t mean the scars underneath are pretend.
