I worked primarily out of a McDonald's when I covered the Elliot Lake Mall collapse for the Canadian Press newswire in 2012. I also had to brush my teeth in the McDonald's bathroom each morning (there were no hotel rooms available).
Peak journalism is working in a McDonald's and you can't tell me different. There are various reasons for which journalists end up needing to work at a McDonald's and they're all valid and urgent. Yes, I'm currently working at said establishment because of wind-induced issues.

I really don't understand why they made the screens at @UPexpress harder to read? Before, you could quickly glance and see that the train is X minutes away. Now it shows what time the train is arriving, which means you need to also check exactly what time it is & do mental math.
