I find this fascinating. We’ve been making bread for 10,000 years. There’s a row of bakers in the Farmers Market. Only one has a 20 minute line to spend 2x Whole Foods prices. And yes, it’s worth it. When you think a market is saturated… consider execution opportunities.

When a company creates discounts for new users but not current users… You know they are transactional, not relational.

It's amazing how quickly you can lose a customer. Case in point, I have used https://t.co/AXaHO6gvvM for over 10 years. I spend about $5000 a year on the platform. My credit card expired and it locked up. I updated the card... still locked up, no one to contact. Horrible

One of the best ways to tell customers that they aren’t important is providing an automated phone system that provides no way to get to a representative. Second best way is a long hold. We know you are being cheap. I have often moved over to services with fast human response.

I always wonder why I don’t use @UPS and then, when it happens… I’m smacked in the face with the why. Couldn’t deliver yesterday so they are returning the package to sender… sender is in China. They won’t let me pickup the package… it’s 10 miles away, sitting at a facility.

Do you want to know why Hollywood is in trouble? She has 3M followers. If she has a good manager, she is making a living doing what she loves to do…dancing upside down in a pool. If you think it’s vapid…welcome to most of daytime TV. Entertainment is now micro verticals.

Apple really made the “Keynote” something that every tech company had to do. Yesterday’s launch begins to close the door on an era. Within 5 years, most “keynotes” will be launch videos. The live activations just don’t pencil out on many levels.
Just realized, this was the first Apple Event where the Keynote was entirely screen-overlay. No LED wall, no CGI graphics, nothing. Compare with WWDC25 in the last pic.

I haven't posted this publicly on YouTube. Let me know what you think of this more informal format. (I might take it down) https://t.co/pQcgdt3NOg

MLB really has to stop having humans behind the catcher call the balls and strikes… we can all see when they are wrong in realtime. I know, tradition. But they are burning up their future to protect their past. https://t.co/uz8TUeMykl

Aaron Judge and the Yankees were the latest victims of umpire Lance Barrett’s strike zone.

Me: Wow, Cracker Barrel torched their business with the rebranding. Also Me: I’ve never been to Cracker Barrel because it seemed too folksy and quaint.

First day with the new Blackmagic 180 camera. I’ve been doing immersive for over 10 years. This is the camera I’ve been waiting for. The workflow is light years better than anything I’ve used in the past. Thanks to the band Silk Road for the music and Swell for the space.

I was sent a Google Map link yesterday and clicked on it… ending up in Google Maps after 5 years in Apple Maps. Google is way behind. The look and feel is dated, the directions themselves are less clear. The only feature I wish I had is the very dynamic speed trap locator.

Most FPS games don’t need a storyline and cut scenes … which is often 75% of the development effort. I still don’t know the backstory to Asteroids or Space Invaders.
