@blues_breakdown Shame the controversy has deflected a bit from the unbelievable performance. I can't see how it was over the line either but - and I know I'm in a minority of 1 here - I'll take the rough with the smooth on officials' decisions. They do it in good faith, that's enough for me.

@alexafcw9696 @martyntowell @refsupportuk They're u10, they're still learning how to deal with situations. The adults should know way better.

@sconeill89 "you can't come to a game unless you've been to a game before" Might be a slight flaw in your 'logic' there mate, see if you can spot it

@MagpieMediaX @deansmith1975 @christiandr1 Don't be silly. Both sides were using the dark arts throughout. Like every single game at any level. I bet you'd be roaring with delight if one of your lads took out an opponent in a big game. And I bet you've never played competitive adult 11 aside.

@blues_breakdown It does seem odd that he felt confident enough to give it - only he knows what he saw (or thinks he saw). If it did stay out, it was a fantastic save TBF! What annoys me more than any potential error is the fact the FA don't allow goal line tech. That decision really is bonkers.

@stulah You could have seen every single game since the dawn of time and know all the players' inside leg measurements - it won't change the fact that the image is very obviously inconclusive. The fact you think it isn't speaks volumes about how seriously you should be taken. Muted

@DazzyNicks @Solidusstu I've never heard so much wibble in all my life. I'm just asking for a picture so that we know, one way or the other.

@stulah So you can tell where the ball is in relation to the line from that position, but the lino couldn't from his? Please don't be so silly. That image is inconclusive either way.

@PapaFoledog You want me to "call this out" even though it may well have been a correct decision? And you're accusing me of being ludicrous π€¦ββοΈ I remember now why I had you on mute. Only one thing for it.... π ππΌ Life's too short for idiocy.

@PapaFoledog I've no idea if that photo exists or not, which is why I've asked for it ππΌ

@PapaFoledog You need to look up what 'semantics' means. I just asked for a photo, not a debate about official's positioning. I'm going to assume you don't have said photo and therefore you can't possibly know if it was an error or not.ππΌ

@PapaFoledog No I'm not joking and I didn't defend the lino. It was a really simple and straightforward question that I asked - is there a picture that shows if it was a goal or not? You're reading things that I didn't write !

@Blues_knowledge You can't tell from that image. Unless you've got some sort of 2D into 3D super power.

@1lee18750 Unfortunately you can't have a lino on the goal line for every shot, so if you'll never have the 100% certainty you want to give a goal - unless it hits the net. Then people would moan about goals not being given. Just highlights the absurd decision not use goal line tech IMO
